We are excited to announce that this year's tournament
will be at the exclusive Coto
de Caza Golf Club, a private country club set amidst 100-year-old California
oaks in the Coto Valley - the spectacular, views, natural terrain and wildlife
sightings combined with a championship golf course - promises an unforgettable
golf experience. The Rocky Start Foundation will use this beautiful back drop to
hold it's 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, pushing beyond the limits of
the success achieved last year.
Following the challenge of these 18
stunning holes, guests are honoured & treated to a sumptuous dinner, and
then tempt their fortunes with our extraordinary silent auction. The event
features an evening program, complete with golfer awards, and Kent French of the
Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club reprises his role as guest emcee. The highlight
of the evening is the exciting live auction, during which dinner guests and
golfers alike sponsor individual pieces of NICU equipment in a "Fund-A-Cure"
style of lively bidding!
Proceeds directly benefit the Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) at UC Irvine Medical Center to purchase much-needed
critical neonatal equipment, fund research, train pediatric physicians and
nurses, and provide support for the NICU.
